Procedure

Premix phase D ingredients and set aside for later addition to the batch. In an appropriately sized vessel add water and begin heating to 75°C. Add butylene glycol and Versene100XL. Mix well. Add phase B ingredients to phase A, mixing well between each addition maintain temperature at 75°C. Begin cooling, at a temperature of 50°C add phase C. Mix well. Add phase D premix. Adjust pH if necessary.
